Going to college and your wondering what scholarships you may qualify for. Well; a good list of scholarships might be the first step to begin looking at and applying to them. You may be surprised to learn that there are many scholarships on the list that you had no idea there were scholarships for. The many scholarships today on any list you will be looking at will not have all scholarships listed. New ones come out and old ones may close up. When looking at a scholarship list you may not really believe the criteria colleges hand out scholarships for. Some college scholarships are really weird and unusual. Some are given out for just being born a certain way, like heridity, while others are awarded based on areas of your interest. Many scholarships on any list require that you write an essay explaining certain subject matter, usually having to do with something about the scholarship and how it would effect you if you were awarded the scholarship. The main thing when looking at any list of scholarships is to simply apply to them, as many as you can to see what happens. You may find out others simply don’t take the time to apply to them.
