Not many people realize that when they watch the late night shows of David Letterman and Jay Leno, that these two renowned stand up comedians have their own fun scholarships which they award each and every year to deserving stiudents. David works through Ball State University on presenting his funny scholarships, where Jay has what is called the Fred Duesenberg Scholarship administered by McPherson College. They both have very high paying yearly stipends, and are reserved for only the most unique students (which is ordinary). GPA is very low to qualify, so don’t worry about that. Most scholarships for college do only focus on this alone, but both of these standout comedians do not feel this fairly represents the ordinary person, which what they are trying to find.
