Commercial property management companies manage real property, usually commercial property that is either leased or rented. Once rent and lease prices have been set, the property manager will take over overall operations of the property and obtain paying tenants. The property manager may be responsible for the marketing of the property, including advertising and promotions to find and keep the right type of tenants. They will screen applicants and handle lease and rental agreements.
If property taxes are an issue commercial property management companies may have to resort to a commercial property tax appeal in order to equalize the valuation of the property assessment to the actual income of the property.
